A good hand cream is important for healthy hands and nails. I love to test different creams and today I show you the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream.
Clarins is one of the more high-end brand you can buy in the Netherlands. Their products are known for the active ingredients, and unlike many other high-end brands, the Clarins products don’t come in fancy packaging.
A while ago I was at Douglas and saw the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. I use my hand cream several times a day and I am always curious about new products. I bought this product and have been testing it for a few months now so it’s time for a review.
The Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream comes in a simple white tube that’s sealed and packed in a box. Due to the presence of sesame oil and Japanese mulberry, the cream leaves your skin soft and nourished. Clarins describes the product as a protective glove but I can’t say I that I agree with them about that.
The cream has a delicious, floral scent which is a bit old-fashioned, but still very pleasant. The product is a bit on the thicker side and distributes easily on the skin and is very quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky film.
In addition to many good ingredients like vitamin E, sesame oil and Japanese mulberry, the cream also contains a lot of silicone and fragrances. If you are sensitive to any of these ingredients, I would not recommend this product.
After several months of use, I have to say that it is a nice product but certainly not exceptional. This product doesn’t do anything for the nails. Without the use of a separate cuticle cream this product leaves my cuticles very dry and they even started to tear within a week. There are absolutely better hand creams for a much lower price. The Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream contains 100ml and costs €22.39.
I hope you have a great weekend!
