OPI Never Have Too Many Friends is a standard black cream. The color is a really deep black without a gray undertone that you often see in black polishes.
The color stays pretty dark in every light source, below you can see a photo taken in daylight.
In terms of substance OPI Never Have Too Many Friends is perfect. Application goes without effort and is opaque in just one thin layer. The thickness is very pleasant, not so thick that it becomes syrupy but not so thin that it runs into the cuticles. Because of the perfect thickness it levels out neatly so you get a nice and smooth manicure. It is important to use a good base coat to prevent the natural nails from discoloring.
OPI is using the Pro-Wide brush for quite some years now. This brush is of particularly good quality, it is slightly on the wide side but it works very nice. If you have a smaller nail bed you can turn the brush so that you can work with the narrow side of the brush.
OPI Never Have Too Many Friends dries fairly quickly to a beautiful high-gloss finish. The durability on the nails is good, about 4 days until the first chip showed. You can extend the durability by applying a good topcoat. On the swatches I didn’t apply a topcoat.
